Chapter-15

On the third day of the second fortnight of the month of margshirsh in Samvant 1876, Shriji Maharaj was seated in the darbar of shri Dada Khacher. He was clad in all white. Saints and the followers from the various places were gathered before him.

Then Shriji Maharaj said, 'A devotee, with a true devotion in his heart, would respond immidiately and act according to the injunctions prescribed by his lord or his Saint. But he would never feel within his heart that from amongst various injunctions of the lord or the saints, some could be observed and some could not be observed by him. A true devotee, should couragiously meditate upon God always and at all times. If during such meditation his mind gets diverted and indulges in irrelevant thoughts and obstructs meditation. he should think of the infinite greatness of God whose proximity he enjoys and should remain fulfilled. But in no case should he think of leaving the meditational worship. As God says in Geeta : "ANEK JANM SANSIDDHSTATO YATI PARANGATIM" (one attains the realised state gradually after many births) Therefore, one who carries on spiritual endevours to contemplate on God in meditational worship is called Ekantik Bhakta.

Thus Ends Vachanamrit : Gadhada First - 15.
