Path of Devotion
As followers of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan (1781–1830), we walk the sacred path he revealed—a divine journey rooted in love, devotion, and ethical living. As a Hindu (Sanatan) sect, our lives are guided by the uplifting principles he established: pure vegetarianism, abstinence from alcohol, truthfulness, non-stealing, and no adultery.
Across the world, our temples stand as living sanctuaries of his grace. From the historic Shree Swaminarayan Temple Kalupur—the first temple established by Bhagwan himself and the spiritual heart of our fellowship—to places thousands of miles away like the Shree Swaminarayan Temple ISSO Chicago, Itasca, each shines as a beacon of his divine presence.
Wherever devotees gather, the same sacred atmosphere blossoms, nurturing souls on their journey toward inner purification, spiritual awakening, and eternal devotion to Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan.
